The year is 2012 not 1983 but that doesn’t matter to Alonzo Redondo. Its almost summer and Alonzo Redondo is ready to see what the ladys are wearing at the beach as often as possible. He recently purchased a used 1991 Cabriolet VW (Rabbit) believing the owner that it was a Jeep. Alonzo doesn’t know the difference. He puts a surf board (Alonzo doesn’t Surf) in the back (Just so the girls can see it sticking out of his trunk) and is ready for the Weekend. Alonzo Redondo is planning what casset he’s gonna play on the trip up PCH……. Then his eyes get wide as he thinks of this song. See: LOVERBOY - Working for the Weekend.
